Hilton Garden Inn Grand Rapids East

The staff was very professional, kind and helpful. Called to ask questions about food and the man who answered put me on hold quickly, and then got back on and listed everything on the breakfast buffet. I was trying to plan accordingly since traveling with two little kids. The beds were cozy and room was very quiet. Everyone working actually seemed on the clock and happy to be working, not just there. Saying hello, cleaning up, friendly explanation of it all. Upon checkout, the lady even offered my kids a treat from the store, came and took our luggage rack from our car. It's little stuff but makes the stay actually feel like a guest and being serviced. The breakfast food was VERY good and had a lot of variety for the breakfast included in your stay. Such a nice perk and a reason to stay at the Hilton Garden Inns. Pool was perfect temperature, clean and pretty with all the color changing lights, windows and indoor/outdoor hot tub.

The place had good atmosphere and a good vibe. There was a sense that the staff understood our needs and could manage what we wanted. I also liked the facility and room. If I was to return I would come here.

The hotel was great. There were a ton of kids running the halls, but that's not the fault of the hotel. Hot tub was awesome! Overall, very good experience and would go back.

Upon arrival around 4:30 I was informed that my room was not ready due to "We got busy" and it would take over an hour for the room to be ready. They then moved me and my family to an open room. This was great because we needed a rest from being at the John Ball Zoo all day. The next morning the breakfast staff was very pleasant particularly the gentleman in charge of cleaning up tables and refilling the beverages. He was very kind to my children.

LOVED the pool and hot tub. The hot tub was indoor/outdoor but still hot and we loved it. The best part is everything was open until midnight.
